Rich in Resources - Wildlife - 100,000 of Porcupine Caribou

At the end of each summer for untold centuries, 100,000 porcupine caribou migrate a thousand miles from the calving grounds of Alaska’s coastal plain to the forests of Canada’s Olgivile Mountains.  This band, photographed west of the Sheenjek River, seeks a mountain breeze to escape the scourge of biting insects.
